"I am absolutely delighted with the service your company has provided! Practically overnight, I have in place a vital ingredient to the success of my Music Kindergarten classes at the Redbridge Music Service, London. Six years ago I purchased a similar Emperor hand puppet which I perused in the Planetarium in Swansea. I named him 'Penguin Pete' and gave him a backstory which the children adored. In his day, Penguin Pete not only taught the kiddies the way to 'keep the beat with his feet and with his flippers' (thus showing crotchets and quavers through play) but if a little one was upset and in need of comfort in those first days of attendance, the shape and familiarity of the puppet gave them something to hold on to until a new activity channeled their curiosity to music making.
Following our Christmas Concert, I was very sad to discover that 'Penguin Pete' had disappeared off his familiar perch on the grand piano. When 'Pete' disappeared, I told the children that he was probably with Paddington Bear on their way to Peru which will help us create a sound story in the new term and will help us to get over our loss of a loved 'character'. We shall have great fun considering a new name for 'Pete's cousin'!

"I have so far made four purchases from this site (all 'Folkmanis' animal puppets) and am very impressed with both the range of items available and the excellent service. I am really pleased with the quality and attention to detail - realistic noses and paws etc. - you really can't tell how well made these are until you see them in 'real life' - the photos don't do them justice. I have been using them as part of my 'ventriloquist act' and 'laughter therapy' interests, and they are good to work with and look very effective.
I'm also impressed with all the advice and information given to me by Anne (who runs this site) - she answered all my questions which enabled me to find the puppets best suited to my needs - I'd recommend to anyone (and have done... a good friend has also just made a purchase on my recommendation).Many thanks again for the help and support - I'll be buying some more at some point - the site's in my 'favourites' and will be staying there!"
